Code of conduct 

We aim to provide a friendly, safe, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, heritage or religion. Everyone can help us achieve this by looking out for others.
 
When registering for the Animal Rights Gathering, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. If you breach the provisions as outlined below, you may be asked to leave the event.
 
We will have safety coordinators onsite, who can be contacted if you have any concerns.
 
We expect all participants to:
  • Treat others with respect, dignity, and consideration
  • Make space for voices that may otherwise be excluded, silenced, or underrepresented within our communities and movements.
  • Communicate in ways that are considerate, respectful, and collaborative
  • Critique ideas, not people, in a non-confrontational manner
 We will not tolerate:
  • Discriminatory conduct
  • Harassment, including unwelcome or offensive verbal comments, visual displays or physical contact
  • Sexual harassment of any kind
  • Deliberate intimidation, threatening, stalking, or following
  • Behaving in a way that endangers the health or safety of others
