Welcome to the Aotearoa Animal Rights Gathering 2025 - two pivotal days connecting independent vegan animal activists from around the motu.
We invite you to join us in Ōtautahi Christchurch to be inspired and motivated! Collectively, we’ll plan and strategise, share skills and experiences, and learn from animal rights history and other social justice movements. A range of thought-provoking workshops, panels and speakers will examine how we can create meaningful change for animals in the current political climate and upskill us through workshops ranging from campaign strategy to our legal rights. We'll also enjoy plentiful and delicious vegan kai.
It’s been more than eight years since the last animal rights conference in Aotearoa and it’s time to reconnect! Over Labour weekend, we’ll get to know our fellow activists better, debate realistic next steps, and explore how we can work together towards a just world for all living beings.
